Wimbledon FC (celým názvem: Wimbledon Football Club) byl anglický fotbalový klub, který sídlil v jihozápadním Londýně (v městské obvodu Merton). Klubové barvy byly modrá a žlutá.

Založen byl v roce 1889 pod názvem Wimbledon Old Central FC, od 1911 nesl současný název. Dlouho hrál jenom nižší soutěže, až roku 1964 se zprofesionalizoval. V roce 1985 postoupil do nejvyšší anglické soutěže a v roce 1988 vybojoval Anglický pohár, když ve finále zdolal Liverpool FC 1:0. V roce 1995 získal Wimbledon své nejlepší historické umístění v lize, když byl šestý a postoupil tak do Poháru Intertoto. Jeho vystoupení však skončilo ostudou: remizoval s 1. FC Košice a Beitarem Jeruzalém, ale prohrál vysoko s Charleroi a Bursasporem. Důvodem bylo, že Wimbledon šetřil nejlepší hráče a nastoupil prakticky s rezervním týmem; za trest byl vyloučen z evropských pohárů. V roce 2000 Wimbledon sestoupil z Premier League.

Wimbledon FC se rozpadl v roce 2002, když se majitelé rozhodli z důvodu klesající návštěvnosti (navíc původní sídlo Plough Lane nevyhovovalo špičkovému fotbalu a klub hrál domácí zápasy od roku 1991 na stadionu rivala Crystal Palace) přestěhovat klub do města Milton Keynes, prudce se rozvíjejícího satelitu Londýna. Zde také vznikl roku 2004 tým Milton Keynes Dons (upomínka na přezdívku Wimbledonu). Většina fanoušků Wimbledonu přemístění klubu odmítla a založila sdružení The Dons Trust, které vytvořilo vlastní mužstvo AFC Wimbledon. Kontinuitu s Wimbledon FC posílilo o převzetí klubového znaku (dvouhlavý orel) a barev dresů (modrá a žlutá).
