The 2024–25 Saudi Pro League (known as the Roshn Saudi League for sponsorship reasons) will be the 49th edition of the Saudi Professional League, the top Saudi professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1976. Fixtures for the 2024–25 season will be announced in July 2025.
Al-Hilal are the defending champions, having won their record-extending 19th title last season.[1]

18 teams will compete in the league – the top 15 teams from the previous season and the 3 teams promoted from the FD League.
Teams who were promoted to the Pro League
On 6 May 2024, Al-Qadsiah became the first team to be promoted following a 2–2 draw with Ohod.[2] They were crowned champions following a 4–2 win against Al-Najma on 13 May 2024.[3] Al-Qadsiah return to the top flight after an absence of three seasons and will play in their 37th season in the top flight.
On 21 May 2024, Al-Kholood and Al-Orobah became the final two clubs to be promoted. Al-Kholood were promoted following a 5–1 win against Al-Safa.[4] Al-Kholood will play in the top flight of Saudi football for the first time in history and will be the 38th side to participate in the Saudi Pro League since its inception.
Al-Orobah were promoted following a 1–0 win against Al-Jabalain.[5] Al-Orobah return to the top flight for the first time since getting relegated in the 2014–15 season and will play in their 3rd season in the top flight.
Teams who were relegated to the FD League
Al-Hazem were the first team to be relegated following a 4–1 home defeat to Al-Hilal on 11 May 2024.[6] Al-Hazem were relegated after just one year in the top flight. This was their third relegation in five years.

Managerial changes
Foreign players
On 29 December 2023, The Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced that clubs can register a total of ten foreign players for the first time ever, eight of them can be of any age and two of them must be born in 2003 and younger. For the league matches the clubs can select eight out of the ten players every match throughout the season, and can use the full ten in the King Cup & Super Cup.[12]
