Baravat (Persian: بروات)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Baravat District of Bam County, Kerman province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 census, its population was 15,388 in 3,950 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 18,633 people in 5,665 households,[6] by which time the city had been separated from the district in the establishment of Baravat District.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 22,761 people in 7,386 households.[2]
