Pada 12 Agustus 2017, sebuah mobil menabraki kerumunan orang yang merupakan pengunjuk rasa damai[12][13] yang menentang pawai Unite the Right di Charlottesville, Virginia, menewaskan satu orang dan melukai 28 orang.
