William Allingham, pseud. Giraldus, Patricius Walker (ur. 19 marca 1824, zm. 18 listopada 1889) – irlandzki poeta^[1] oraz antropolog. Jego żona Helen Allingham była znaną akwarelistką i ilustratorką^[1]. William Allingham przyjaźnił się z Dantem Gabrielem Rossettim^[1]. Debiutował w 1850 tomikiem Poems^[2]. Poeta tworzył między innymi sonety^[3]. Wiersz Under the Grass napisał oktawą. Generalnie jednak preferował prostsze formy wersyfikacyjne.
