Michael Cunningham (n. 6 noiembrie 1952 în Cincinnati, Ohio) este un scriitor american.

Este cunoscut pentru romanul The Hours, publicat în 1998, pentru care a câștigat Premiul Pulitzer pentru Ficțiune, iar în anul următor PEN/Faulkner Award.

Este profesor la Universitatea Yale.
