Po žanru je kombinacija drame i trilera, a protagonistice - koje tumače sestre Lilian i Dorothy Gish - su dvije adolescentice koje u sobi zaključa njihov kućepazitelj kako bi sa svojim zločinačkim drugovima pokušao opljačkati kućni sef. Film se često navodi kao jedan od primjera razvoja Griffithovih tehnika korištenja filmske montaže u svrhu stvaranja napetosti.
