Murder in Mesopotamia (srpskohrvatski: Ubojstvo u Mezopotamiji) je kriminalistički roman Agathe Christie premijerno objavljen 6. srpnja 1936. godine od strane Collins Crime Cluba. Prvo američko izdanje, koje je tiskala kuća Dodd, Mead and Company, izašlo je kasnije iste godine. Glavni istražitelj u romanu je ekscentrični Belgijanac Hercule Poirot, a radnja je smještena na lokaciji arheološkog nalazišta u Iraku. Detaljni opisi romana potječu iz Christieina posjeta Kraljevskom groblju u Uru, gdje je upoznala svog supruga, Maxa Mallowana, te druge arheologe.
Roman je ekraniziran 2002. godine u sklopu serije Agatha Christie's Poirot. Naslovnog lika tumačio je David Suchet.
Radnja
Prateći svoga prijatelja Hastingsa u Irak, na arheološke iskopine, Hercule Poirot dobit će neočekivan zadatak: otkriti ubojicu gospođe Leidner, supruge arheologa dr. Leidnera. Žrtva je primala prijeteća pisma koja su nosila potpis njezina prvog muža, no on je nastradao u nesreći putničkog vlaka. Je li možda preživio nesreću? Nije li se možda njegov mlađi brat osvetio u njegovo ime? Je li se gospođica Johnson željela riješiti suparnice kako bi stekla ljubav svojega šefa? Ili je možda Richard Carey ubio ženu za koju je javno govorio da je mrzi? I koliko će se još smrti dogoditi prije nego što Poirot otkrije ubojicu?
