The Hanging Tree (sh. Drvo za vješanje) je američki vestern film snimljen 1959. u režiji Delmera Davesa. Temelji se na istoimenom romanu Dorothy M. Johnson. Protagonist je Frail, ljekar koji tokom zlatne groznice 1870-ih dolazi u novopodignuti gradić u Montani kako bi tamo pokušao započeti novi život. Radnja prikazuje kako odnos sa njegovim novim sugrađanima zakomplicira dolazak lijepe imigrantice (čiji lik tumači Maria Schell), koja mu postane pacijentica, izazvaši ljubomoru i glasine. Naslovnu pjesmu u filmu izvodi Marty Robbins.
