Thomas Rowlandson (13. jul 1756 – 21. april 1827)[1] bio je engleski likovni umjetnik i karikaturist. Iako je za vrijeme napoleonskih ratova radio anti-francuske karikature poput svog kolege i prijatelja Jamesa Gillraya, najpoznatiji je po opće društvenoj satiri. U privatnom životu je bio sklon neukusnim šalama te ovisan o kocki, a što je, kao i druge poroke, dokumentirao karikaturama samog sebe.
